Dropping a classic Batangueño expression while greeting “Everybody, Sing!” host Vice Ganda, the fourth row of “repre-sing-tatives” amused the Unkabogable Superstar after she found out that the “song-pu” for the round was made up of Songbayanang Baristas from Batangas. In a hilarious twist, however, barista Timmy admitted to Vice that he actually came all the way from Baguio.
Realizing the situation at hand, Vice shared that she has Batangueño roots as well. Humorously flipping the script, Vice challenged Timmy to take over hosting duties for the meantime as the Unkabogable Host joined the “song-pu.”
Pretending to be a barista as she answered Timmy’s question, Vice told him that she sells beverages in three sizes: tall, grande, and venti. Later, during a more personal exchange, Timmy asked how he could achieve Vice’s look for the evening. Redirecting the nature of the question, Vice encouraged Timmy to focus instead on pursuing the goals that only he could fulfill.
Hoping to become a successful business owner one day, Timmy envisioned building a coffee shop to help fund his mother’s medication. His mother was diagnosed with depression in May of last year. Although she initially got better, she experienced another episode of depression recently returned, causing some of her hair to fall out.
Vice imparted her wisdom, saying that depression is a difficult problem to deal with. She emphasized that expression is the opposite of depression, explaining that people who suffer from the condition may have difficulty expressing their feelings in healthy ways. Hoping for Timmy’s success in life, Vice told him, “I wish your mom well. Sana gumaling na siya.”
