As the second row of “repre-sing-tatives” prepared to take on the “Sing Tunog” lyric-guessing challenge, “Everybody, Sing!” host Vice Ganda struck up a conversation with best friends Ria and Cole, who have known each other since they were little children.
Sharing their mutual love for singing on a karaoke machine, Cole told the Unkabogable Host a hilarious story about Ria’s quirky habit. Ria would often invite Cole to go out and roam around their area at 10 p.m. Worried about her child’s well-being, Cole’s mother would sometimes call her daughter during one of their late-night strolls.
In a playful exchange, Ria then humorously confided in Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar, saying that she could not stand it whenever her dear friend would do the opposite of the advice she gave her, especially when it came to love and romantic relationships. Despite initially refusing to listen, Cole eventually acknowledged that Ria would turn out to be right most of the time, taking her best friend’s words as yet another lesson learned.
Amused by their bond, Vice expressed that even though we often fight with our friends, we still always find our way back to their genuine love, care, and support.
Tasked with identifying the missing lyrics of a song based on the rhyming-word clue sung by resident jammer Ayegee Paredes, the Songbayanang Mag-Best Friends advanced to the “Sing Tunog” round, where they put their lyric-guessing skills to the test with Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs Angeline Quinto’s “Umiiyak Ang Puso.”
