Fifty (50) baristas gathered inside the studio of “Everybody, Sing!” to spend a weekend filled with great music, laughter, and bittersweet stories about life.
Introducing herself as “Iced Ganda,” host Vice Ganda led the Songbayanang Baristas into their first lyric-guessing game after a nostalgic warm-up sing-along to Donna Cruz’s “Kapag Tumibok ang Puso.” Chosen to play “Sing in the Blank,” the first batch of “song-pu” was tasked with singing the missing lyrics of a song. The Songbayanan got off to a rough start, managing to get only four correct answers to Regine Velasquez’s rendition of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing.”
Earning a head start of eight seconds, the Unkabogable Host had the pleasure of meeting Timmy during the “Lights, Camera, ActSing” segment. He stood out among the Batagueño “repre-sing-tatives” as the only participant from Baguio. They were challenged to supply the missing lyrics of a song by interpreting the gestures acted out by Iyah Mina and Makki Lucino. Singing Lea Salonga’s “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal,” the Songbayanang Baristas earned another eight seconds.

Doubling the excitement during the Saturday episode, “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” alum Jarren Garcia serenaded the Songbayanan with his melodic cover of Side A’s “Forevermore.” Accompanied by his chosen players, Jarren confidently put his lyric-guessing skills to the test during the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot round. Tasked with providing, one by one, the five consecutive missing lyrics from Mayonnaise’s “Jopay,” Jarren and his team brought the Songbayanang Baristas’ accumulated time to 18 seconds, along with an initial prize of ₱40,000.

Starting Sunday night with a bang, Fearless Diva Jona performed her hit track “Pusong Ligaw” during “The ChooSing One” game, where she teamed up with the community singing game show’s resident band, Six Part Invention. Bouncing back from their low scores the previous evening, the Songbayanan leveled up their game and managed to score eight correct guesses, earning an additional 16 seconds.
When it was time for the fifth row of baristas to represent the Songbayanan during the “LipSing” round, the Unkabogable Superstar couldn’t help but be amused by the hairstyles worn by the “song-pu.” Through the words mouthed by Iyah Mina and Makki Lucino, the Songbayanang Baristas had to identify the missing lyrics of Morissette’s well-loved hit “Akin Ka Na Lang.” Thanks to their teamwork, they achieved nine correct guesses, bringing their accumulated time to 52 seconds.

“AyuSing Mo” was the name of the lyric-guessing game the Songbayanan played next. The objective of the segment was to rearrange sets of jumbled lyrics for a chance to earn four additional seconds for every correct answer. Assigned to sing Earl Agustin’s “Tibok,” the Songbayanang Baristas scored five correct guesses, earning 20 additional seconds.
Finally advancing to the “Everybody GuesSing” Sunday jackpot game with a total of 72 seconds, the Songbayanan knew they had to give their best shot to take home the community singing game show’s coveted ₱1 million jackpot. Despite a rough start, the Songbayanang Baristas managed to identify eight song titles with only five seconds to spare. However, their efforts fell short as they failed to identify Lea Salonga’s “I Am But a Small Voice” and Geneva Cruz’s “Ang Gaan ng Feeling.”

Still, the Songbayanang Baristas took home a total of ₱200,000 to be shared among themselves, combining the ₱40,000 they earned from the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot segment and the ₱160,000 they won during the “Everybody GuesSing” Sunday jackpot game.
