With the help of Iyah Mina and Makki Lucino, the Songbayanang Baristas finished the “Lights, Camera, ActSing” segment with four correct guesses of the missing lyrics from music legend Lea Salonga’s “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal.” Earning eight additional seconds from the game, the songbayanan brought their accumulated time to 16 seconds.
Filling the “Everybody, Sing!” studio with fun and laughter, “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” alum Jarren Garcia selected four “repre-sing-tatives” to accompany him during the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot round. Jarren and his chosen players were challenged to supply five consecutive missing lyrics from a song in succession.
Volunteering to go first in the guessing sequence, they were tasked with identifying the missing lyrics from Mayonnaise’s timeless track “Jopay,” which was named after SexBomb Girls member Jopay Paguia.
Starting off on the wrong foot, Jarren and the Songbayanang Baristas gave an incoherent answer on their first attempt. They failed once more on their second try after a “repre-sing-tative” repeated a word that had already been guessed by the previous player.
Just when it seemed they were bound to earn zero additional seconds for the jackpot timer, the songbayanan bounced back on their third and fourth attempts, confidently providing the correct answers. Missing the mark by just one letter, the Songbayanang Baristas almost had their fifth attempt in the bag, but a small grammatical error cost them the correct answer.
Still, Jarren helped the songbayanan raise their accumulated time to 18 seconds, along with an initial cash prize of ₱40,000 heading into the Sunday episode.
