The Alas Pilipinas beach women's squads competing at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 will proceed to the quarterfinals after their respective wins in the Round of 16, Monday at the Hekinan Ryokuchi Beach Court.
Sofiah Pagara and Khy Progella saw action on the sands first, overcoming Hong Kong's Wong Man Ching and Ngok Ling Tsang, 26-24, 21-18, to be in the Final 8.
They will face host reps Non and Ren Matsumoto two days from now, September 30.

Likewise, the star duo of Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons is also through to the next round after eliminating Japanese bets Sakura Ito and Mayu Sawame, 21-17, 21-15, today.
They will face Kazakhstan's Merey Kozhakhmet and Laura Kabulbekova, also on Wednesday.
