While the Magtibays continue with breakfast, they suddenly hear a group of people calling Gabo (Coco Martin) from outside their house. Seeing that it’s the family of Mang Babot (Andres "Kuya Bata" Balano Jr.), Gabo excuses himself, with Gloria/Sam (Julia Montes) following him.
As soon as they step outside, Mang Babot and his family immediately greets them with words of gratitude, while the children excitedly chorus, “Salamat po, Kuya Gabo!” Gabo tells them there is no need to thank him, as he only did what he believed was right.
When they ask how he is doing, Gabo assures them that he is recovering well, having sustained only minor wounds and bruises. They also ask about Gloria, whom he introduces as his wife and reveals that they met while he was in prison. After learning her name, the children introduce themselves one by one as well.
Upon learning that they haven’t eaten yet, Gabo gives Gloria some cash and asks her to treat the kids to whatever food they want. While they are away, Sam speaks with Mang Babot’s two female companions and learns that Gabo has come to their aid not only against the attackers who targeted them the previous night, but also when they were abducted by a human organ trafficking syndicate. That’s why they are so deeply grateful to Gabo and feel indebted to him.
Hearing this has apparently made Sam more impressed by Gabo, as it once again proves that she was wrong about him. He is not a bad person after all, but a genuinely good man who truly cares for others.
