After learning about Gabo’s (Coco Martin) heroic deed for the family of Mang Babot (Andres "Kuya Bata" Balano Jr.) the previous night and personally witnessing his deep concern for them when they came to their house to personally thank her fake husband, Sam’s (Julia Montes) admiration for Gabo deepens as she once again sees him extend help to a couple of strangers whom she believes are in dire need.
But unbeknownst to her and the people around them, the two suspicious junk-collecting men that his friends have spotted are not really strangers to Gabo. They are actually Uwak (Jojit Lorenzo) and Lawin (Lao Rodriguez), his fellow ex-inmates and Anino group members, have disguised themselves to get near him and relay Paps’ (Joonee Gamboa) message.
After giving them a little beating, Gabo’s friends turn Uwak and Lawin over to him. Although he’s stunned by their presence, Gabo pretends to not know them and remarks that they might genuinely be in need. Thus, amid the discouragement of his friends and neighbors for him to help them, Gabo still firmly decides to bring Uwak and Lawin to their house to feed them.
To give them a chance to talk in private, Gabo asks Sam to get the first-aid kit so their scratches and wounds can be treated. Unaware of the identities of their unexpected guests and their connection with her fake husband, Sam is once again impressed by the compassion and empathy Gabo shows toward others, making her wish that all of it is genuine and not just for show.
Meanwhile, when Gabo asks them what they are doing there, Uwak and Lawin disclose that Paps has ordered them to personally tell him that he has a new mission, the details of which will be sent through the tablet they’ve provided him. They strongly warn him not to mess up and to prove that he is worthy of the trust that Paps has placed in him. Gabo assures them that he will do his best to accomplish his mission.
